Website

"My art is influenced by being in a family of artists with parents who encouraged and developed our creativity and artistic talents, by pursuing art everywhere I am, and by seeing everything with an artistsı eye. Iıve pursued watercolor and drawing wherever Iıve lived- Colorado, California, Washington DC, New York and throughout Europe and Asia. Inspiration for my work comes from my surroundings- lemons and flowers from the Farmersı Markets, New York cityscapes, creating a painting to match beautifully embroidered hand towels, five vignettes for a wall above an antique armoire, and experimenting with ice painting and textures to achieve wintry effects in the cold, snowy winters here in the Hudson Valley. I have studied with Staats Fasoldt at the Woodstock School of Art, Ann Lindsay, and currently study with Betsy Jacaruso, Red Hook, NY. Youıll see a bright, airy studio in action with demonstrations, and finished paintings in several sizes will be for sale."
